The Heart Bag

Www.breakthrough on the front with rows of red hearts.
The back says your M&S.
I was given it by a friend whose wife insisted that he declutter their garage.

Red Hand Warmer Scarf with Hood
I wore this in my post 720, with the ends of the scarf pinned up with safety pins to make hand warmers. I finally got around to sewing it together and removing the safety pins. Neat and snug. I made the hood first, by sewing  up the two seams of the scarf from the centre. I made the scarf by cutting the hem off an over-long dressing gown bought from Marks & Spencer. The fabric is soft and warm and does not pill. And a great colour. The deep pile hides my uneven amateur stitching.

The Black Skirt & Brooch
The vintage black skirt was from Comfy clothes. I recently updated it by adding safety pin style gold colour brooch with black beads on the pocket.

The Black and Blue Sequinned Tee Shirt
The tee shirt label says Cristina Paris. Their website says Christina with an H, but half way though the paragraph on their history they spell it without the H.

They started in 2003 with knitwear. Their website says, the detail makes the difference.

On Ebay I found vintage Christina Paris tops.  My Cristina Paris top came from the one pound rummage box at St Luke's charity shop raising money for a hospice in NW London.

I picked out the blouse because of the blue colour and the sequins. Strangely, the sequins are on the middle motif and diagonally up towards the shoulder.

Christina Paris Cosmetics Page
Ebay also had a page on Christina Paris cosmetics. I was looking for clothes, not interested in buying Christina Paris cosmetics. However, I had a look. I was rewarded. The Christina Paris cosmetics page on ebay offered two small red bags, a shiny red bag, and one with a pineapple motif. Not in my price range for a small item, or any item, but you or somebody else might like them.

The White Blouse
The white blouse label is Alternatives. Made in Hong Kong. UK size 14. Vintage. Padded shoulders. Pleats on the cuffs, around the neck and down the front, and in a u shape arch over the seam of the sleeves to the body. Darts from the yoke at the back. 100% polyester

Buttons
Twenty buttons down the front, in horizontal pairs, actually, on second inspection, five sets of four. Four sets on the front and one set of four buttons on the collar. Plus two on each cuff, 24 in total! No spares. Flat pearly buttons with raised rim and four holes.

The red tulips behind me are cropped from the pattern on the roller blind.
