Temu Turquoise, Red & Orange Dress & Jacket

Why Buy A Matching Dress and Jacket Or Coat?

I wanted another dress like the matching dress and jacket which I wore on holiday last year, 2025. I had ended up wearing it three nights in a row. It was so easy to just have a matching set, it looked neat and elegant.
Dress from Shein / on Ebay. Worn in summer 2025. V neck dress.

I needed another. I made a mistake I was looking for a lime, emerald or pistacchio green dress and jacket outfit on Temu.

The Advantage Of These Colours

Blue matches and compliments as well as compliments my eye colour, which is a murky blue. My eyes slightly reflect a bright blue, so they look bluer, better.
Red clothes and accessories make me happy. They are cheerful. They co-ordinate with my lipstick and shoes and rouge.

The Spelling of Pistacchio?

The Italian spelling is pistacchio. The English spelling is Pistachio. Simpler.

Why Go For Green?

I already have red and orange dresses. So I wanted green for a change. Also I held up my hands against the screen. A pale green went well with both pale and tanned skin, and especially with blonde hair. (Green might also suit you if you have red hair and pale skin, red lipstick, and black hair as well.) Green blends in with grass and trees, and bunches of flowers.

But which shade and hue of green? Pale or dark? Blue-green or green? I thought I already had a turquoise outfit. Would the new one co-ordinate with that? Or, alternatively, provide a welcome change.

I had picked out what I thought was turquoise. But was it teal? I  did a google search. I immediately found just what I wanted. Those two types of green.

Names for Green

Up popped this turquoise multi-colour pattern.

Teal is darker than turquoise. Aqua is paler. You add some black if you are mixing paint for walls, or watercolour or oil paints. For aqua you add white.

Outfit Verdict - good for hot summer daytime

My 2026 outfit is a good daytime outfit. The tie at the neck is handy and keeps the jacket in place.

The fabric is thin. Probably good for a hot day. No hanging tags. The sewn in label reveals XL (extra large), 95% polyester, 5% spandex, made in China. Wash at 30 degrees C. Iron one one. Do not tumble(crossed out circle) and a triple vertical line. AI handily informs me that means drip dry whilst wet and do not wring or twist first.

Then, unaccountably, the label tells me
PROFESSIONAL
DO NOT DRY CLEAN
RECOMMENDED.

The sleeves are short for me. Three quarters is not good for me. I am chilly in March indoors in London. So I wonder whether I would feel cold in an air conditioned restaurant or hotel in summer in Europe or the USA, Africa or Australia or Asia.

Neat. Not really smart enough for a special evening out. Murky colours. Does not zing. Pattern a kind of flowered muddle, almost abstract. Colours so-so. Plain colour jacket might go with other items, dresses or tops. Good stretchiness.

Not awful enough to send back. A handy extra. I might grow to like it. It might be an all purpose garment when I don't want to be over the top, over-dressed, nor too casual. Might brighten up with smart ear-rings or a headband and pretty bracelets. Sometimes
