Triple ball stacked heel shoes, black with gold heels, outfit of the night 849, chosen by Angela Lansbury

I loved the heels on these shoes. The wearer said they were shu shoe. She did not buy the online but in a shop. Did she mean Jimmy Choos shoes?

What did I like about them? The combination of gold and black, to go with a little black dress, and gold or gold colour jewellery and accessories. And the shape, the three balls. Vertical.

High heels. You might have to be helped down the steps to a wine cellar. Also from the dining room to the downstairs ladies toilet - but Waddesdon had a big handicapped toilet on the ground floor.

When I searched I could not find them. So I asked Gemini. The results came up with heels described as stacked. When I used that word, I was offered lots of choices.

Very high. Totally impractical. For me.

But this lady was happy with her heels. She was tall and slim, with short hair. She stood beside her husband with a pose. She had one hand on her hip and her head turned towards the protruding elbow. That attracted my attention. Then I looked her up and down and saw those smart heels.

Where could I get them? As the old music hall song said, 'Where did you get that hat? I would like to get one, just like that.'

Shein had the most budget friendly offer. A  high spindly heel with just one ball at the base. You could get the gold heel, with lots of colours of the shoes, maybe buy two pairs. Prices vary depending on the colour, such as the black with white dots, about £13.

Caverley Maizie Heels from Anthropologie in pink was a very pretty pair, but was sold out.

Joom stacked heels

Joom had black or white with gold ball heels, and other colours, pale blue or tan, £40.13.
