Sleeve pattern, 
Large white printed diamond shapes on pink background. The diamonds are in three sizes, the larger ones at the shoulder, the middle size half way and the smaller ones near the wrist.

 The body pattern: 
three large pink diamond shapes sewn on the left - seen on the right when the garment is on the hanger as seen by the onlookers when the garment is worn.

The back of the top is plain white. 

 The fabric of the sleeves and sewn-on appliques are lightweight synthetic fabric. The material feels soft when stroked but very slightly rough when  pinched, like a light satin. 

On close inspection in strips of contasting weave. I discovered the fabric had small, softer tiny squares made in both pink or white, each made up of four smaller squares.

The wrists and waist are knitted in stripes of contrasting gathered, stretchy weave.

The neckline is a semi circle.

The words made in USA are under a small USA flag.

This attention to fetail mzkes the garment fit well and look superior to many other items in my wardrobe.

Americans say closet where the British word is wardrobe. In Britain a wardrobe is a free-standing or built in cupboard for clothes.

The Pendant
The pendant is a large red heart. I hrabbed it in a hurry. A better co orfination would have been zn zngular necklace xith triangles or diamonds or squares, in pink.

    Sweater embroidered with mock pearls matches my hat pinned with mock pearl brooches.  I had never worn this pale grey sweater  I thought pale grey was a boring colour and always opted for something brighter such as royal blue or bight red. Stripey Red & White Socks, thigh high, and tights - outfit 679 by Angela Lansbury

  I bought a pair of knee high red and white stripe socks in St Luke's charity shop. At one pound or under, you can't lose much. (Their charity fundraising shops are in NW London in Hatch End, Harrow Weald and elsewhere.) Why did I buy the long socks, in hard to match, garish, childish, stripes - after hesitation and consideration? The Advantages Of Long Socks The  length was attractive, at this time of year. I often need long socks under a midi skirt. For warmth in winter. And not to show bit of bare legs above socks. To co-ordinate colours. Advantages and Disadvantages of Red and White Stripes I like red. It's fun. White can show dirt quickly.  Red and white is a bit restrictive. It will clash with patterns, only go with plain reds and whites. But under a table at dinner or on Zoom nobody else will notice. Nor will I. I will only feel them.
