  Sometimes the label is merely the name of the company, other times the label carries two pieces of information, the company name and the 'label' or brand. For example, in effect, 'Holding Company A', plus either 'Ourcheaprange', or 'Ourexpensiverange'.   A company can have different brandnames indicating: 'Womensclothes', or 'Kiddieclothes'. Holding Company A might buy up Company B. At this point the labels all carry the company name, Company A, followed by one or more styles of clothes from company A, or one of the styles from company B.  I find it fun to look up the names and learn the convoluted history of the company and a particular brand. What do tee -shirt labels tell you? Sometimes you draw a blank, nothing at all. Has the company gone out of business or changed its name? Othere times, you get too many results. The Blouse's Cut Label The label on the blouse has been cut to disguise the maker's name. This is done by the maker when the garment is a reject or last year's fashion being sold off cheaply. The label is cut to prevent the buyer of reduced price goods reselling it at the full price or a reduced price) and another customer thinking they are getting current year's top quality goods when the item is not perfect and up to date. If you like vintage clothes, and cheap prices, that doesn't matter. But if you are hunting for more goods made under the same label it is frustrating. The Ribbon I bought the narrow, silky, rainbow ribbon from Daiso in Plaza Singapura in Singapore. Daiso has branches all over the world. I know the price. Two dollars.   Tee -shirt Label Yinghua.  The words are Chinese (Mandarin). Ying means cherry. Hua means flower. So Yinghua is Cherry-blossom. The top design is embroidered lines in blue, brown and white. The lower design is three fish in black brown and white. I could match the top with a black or white or borwn or blue. But the main colour is yellow and I opted for the yellow. I could also have matched up the horizontal lines or the fish motif.  I found children's clothes with the brand Yuhua on amazon and women's leggings, and clothes companies called yuhua in Myanmar and Hong Kong but could not find any tee-shirts. Since I am a Pisces, I thought I would search for yellow tee-shirts with fish motif. I wanted something elegant. On Shein I found yellow tee-shirts, loads of designs, mostly with words like Christmas greetings. Not my idea of elegant. But one plain item - very cheap! (Sew on your own patch.)   Photo from Facebook. For an event where you will be photographed, a see-through 'mask' is handy. They are cheap, too. I bought one from the pharmacy at the airport for about two dollars. If you are organizing the event, or the photography, ask attendees to wear or bring with them some see-through masks. You might invest in buying them in bulk and giving them as a free gift to every person attending. For hygiene reasons, you would not want to pass the see-though mask from one person to another. If you are asking attendees to bring masks, tell them the nearby suppliers. Or allow time. Have a couple of spares in case somebody forgets. Angela Lansbury. The wedding day saying is something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue. Here is something old make into something new, and it is blue. You can borrow my idea. The top picture shows the sari top worm over a patterned caftan. This does not work well, because the roses on the green caftan show through. Since the sari has a straight or lined edge, now close to the underlying pattern, this confuses the eye and brain. A better choice would be blue, red, brown, white or black.   How long is a saree length? Wikipedia says 15 to 30 feet long. However Quora says much less, about six feet to nine. I must measure mine. I remember going into an indian dress and fabric shop in Little India in Singapore. I fancied the sari in the window. The price was outrageous!...
